Late flight, long day in the medina, or simply a taste for late dinners? Finding a good late-night restaurant in Marrakech is not always easy. Matrix Lounge is open every day from 4 pm to 2 am, so your evening can start when it suits you, with dinner, cocktails, shisha and live music under one roof.
Why Matrix is a late-night restaurant in Marrakech
Some restaurants close their doors just as the night is getting started. Matrix works the other way around: it is a restaurant and a lounge, open seven days a week until 2 am. You can arrive for a late dinner, stay for the shows and finish the night with the DJs, without changing venue.
The house describes itself as “between fine dining and private club”: the elegance of a real table, with the energy of a lounge that lives until the very end of the night.
Why dine late in Marrakech
In Marrakech, the night comes alive later. Dining later means a livelier room, rising music and a more festive atmosphere. At Matrix, dinner flows naturally into a lounge evening with live performers and resident DJs.
Late dining also suits travellers. If you land in the evening or spend the whole day exploring, it is good to know there is a place where you can still sit down properly, eat well and enjoy the night.
What you can order late
The bar stays open until closing time at 2 am. Here is what is on the menu:

- Classic cocktails (100 DH): Mojito, Caipirinha, Aperol Spritz, Cosmopolitan, Margarita, Piña Colada, Moscow Mule, Long Island Iced Tea, Porn Star Martini, Espresso Martini and more.

- Beer packs of 10 to share with friends: Heineken or Casablanca (450 DH), Budweiser (550 DH), Corona or Smirnoff Ice (600 DH).
- Soft drinks, fresh juices, Red Bull and Moroccan tea.
Shisha
Shisha is served in three ranges: Soft Normal (150 DH), Soft Adalya (200 DH) and Soft Special (250 DH), with 17 flavours in total.
For food, the cuisine is inspired by Morocco and the world and made for sharing. If you arrive late, we recommend asking when you book what time the kitchen takes its last orders that evening. The full menu, with prices in dirhams, is on our menu.
Live music while you eat
Arriving late does not mean missing the show. The Matrix Show’s programme runs every night with Arnaud Sax on live saxophone, Tamtam on drums, Moira Fireshow with fire performances in the middle of the room, and the resident DJs, DJ Samoo and Ymood, who keep the music going until closing.
Special nights with guest artists, like the “Moroccan Touch” night with Khadija Atlas, are listed on our events page.
Watching a late match
Big football matches often finish late. At Matrix, the big games are shown on giant screens, so you can follow the match with dinner and drinks, and stay afterwards for the music.
